TODD’S CORNER

We need your help!  Although registrations are off to a great start for the summer of 2010, we need to make sure that this trend continues. We had an incredible summer in 2009 and feel that the HVC experience is more important now than ever before.  We want to build on this momentum and hope you will help us by spreading the word about Hidden Valley Camp.  We know that word of mouth is still our best way to spread the word about HVC. Here are a few things you can do to help:

  1. Sign up today if you haven’t done so already.  By registering now you allow us to do more extensive advance planning and preparation for the coming summer and help us through our slow time of year.
  2. Give our web site and contact information to friends, classmates etc. and/or contact us yourself if you know of a family that would like to receive camp information.
  3. Organize a neighborhood or school group gathering where we would come and give a presentation and talk about the benefits of attending Hidden Valley Camp.  This can be arranged for as small a group as a single family or for large groups – the more the merrier!  Contact Todd McKinlay (contact info. below) for more information and to make arrangements for a potential presentation.  We appreciate your help!

HIDDEN VALLEY CAMP REUNION

Hello HVC Friends, Family and Alumni,

We are going to have a Camp Reunion and wanted to get the word out so you can put it on your calendars.  We realize this is a busy time of year but what better way to celebrate the spirit of the Holiday Season?  It will be an afternoon of fun and good times and a chance to reminisce with others that have been a part of HVC over the years.  The location is very aptly named “Hidden Meadows” and is a perfect place for this event – and very easy to find.  Directions are available on their website (below) or by going through MapQuest or Google Maps.  You can look forward to receiving an invitation in the mail as well.  We’ll hope to see you there!

Schedule:

1pm-2pm: Arrive, have some refreshments, chat with old friends and meet some new ones.  Look at pictures, videos, slides etc..
2pm-3pm: Gather for some words of wisdom, sharing time, singing, skits and reminiscing.
3pm-4pm: Continue with HVC fun and talk about the summer of 2010!
Come share some Holiday Spirit with us!  Bring yourself, your families and your friends!  We are planning on having a fun afternoon and we hope you can join us!
